We study gap solitons in the Harper-Hofstadter model with cubic nonlinearity. Certain solitons deep in a band gap retain their shape and move perpendicular to an applied force with a robust, quantized velocity proportional to that force. This permits steering by changing the force direction, despite a strongly nonuniform occupation of linear Bloch states. Solitons near a band edge instead deform and delocalize.
